Financial Analyst

Monster is looking for a Financial Analyst to join our team in Weston, MA. The primary role of the Financial Analyst is to assist the FP&A Manager with all aspects of the company’s monthly, quarterly and annual financial analysis for Monster business. The ideal candidate thrives in a very fast-paced and dynamic environment and possesses a clear customer and operations focus.

Requirements:

This individual will:

• Consolidate financials and help provide insights
• Engage in and contribute to the annual planning process and on-going monthly forecasts, taking full ownership of: understanding and validating the rationale for financial forecast of revenue, operating expenses; being able to explain variances to previously communicated forecasts; preparing and presenting monthly finance review presentations to the Senior Finance Leadership team of the functional area(s) you support as appropriate
• Prepare timely and accurate financial information to allow for efficient use and control over financial resources of a Monster business
• Help drive cost and process improvements within the organization to increase efficiency and profitability
• Create reports and dashboards to track various KPIs
• Participate in adhoc projects and perform other duties

Knowledge and Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in finance
• Experience with excel and power point is required
• Hyperion or financial planning and analysis system knowledge is important
• Ability to pivot across multiple projects
• Continuous appetite to learn and absorb more work
• The ability to be a self-starter and strategic problem solver
• The ability to utilize detailed financial analyses and high-level pattern recognition
• The ability to work well in a cross-functional environment.
