External Description:

Monster Worldwide is seeking a talented, self-motivated SAP BO/BI Developer/Analyst in our Prague, CZ office to provides hands-on technical expertise on the overall architecture, technical design, configuration, implementation, and production support activities of the SAP BO/BI application.  This application is a critical component of our Monster Government Solutions (MGS) platform.  Our MGS Division is one of the fastest growing units of the company, providing a variety of hiring and onboarding solutions to the US, state, and local governments. Our Career Sites enable organizations to have private job boards while leveraging the Monster platform, connecting job seekers with career resources and relevant jobs while helping employers identify and hire talent. As a member of this team, you will be working closely with project leaders and the business teams to design, develop, and support all aspects of our SAP BO/BI solutions to meet business requirements.

 

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for creating new and enhancing existing Universes
• Responsible for changes in current queries/ reports plus creation of new reports
• Managing Promotions of Reports/ Universes through the Development Life Cycle
• Analysis of change requests, creation of documentation and technical solution proposals
• Resolve system issues as needed
• Provide best practice and industry specific solutions
• Advise on and provide alternative (out of the box) solutions
• Provide thought leadership as well as hands on technical configuration/development as needed
• Stay current with installed package releases, identifying features that can meet current or future business challenges
• Participates in implementation and testing of SAP upgrades and service pack enhancements
• Provide feature demonstrations to stakeholders
• Work with key business users to understand current business problems and identify reporting opportunities

 

Qualifications:

• 4+ years demonstrable working experience in Data Analytics/ Business Analytics, in particular with SAP BO/BI
• Experience with end to end Installation, configuration, testing, security, performance monitoring
• Must have proven ability to translate business requirements, create robust technical designs, and implement and maintain SAP BI solutions
• Experience in Information Design Tool (IDT), Universe Design Tool (UDT) tools and WebI
• Demonstrated proficiency with Business Intelligence (BI) Business Objects (BO) tools and best practices
• Advanced knowledge of relational databases, specifically MS SQL Server, with an ability to do SQL queries to extract data and/or experience with SSRS
• Understand data models, data availability and integrity
• Strong teamwork skills and excellent written and oral communications skills (Fluent English)
• Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Software Engineering preferred
• SAP certification is plus
