Business Development Manager, Partnerships

Monster is seeking a talented full time Business Development Manager to join our Partnerships team! The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing Monster’s partnership ecosystem. This individual will use business analytics, channel partner expertise, and alliance partner acumen to manage multiple projects involving strategic deliverables, integrations, and revenue opportunities.

Responsibilities 

Key activities include discovering, negotiating, and on-boarding new partners, supporting existing partners, analyzing performance, and managing the success and growth of the partnership ecosystem. 

  • Develop and on-board new partnerships to drive new revenue, support seeker/customer acquisition, and accelerate product adoption
  • Monitor performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and optimize relationships for growth
  • Discover and develop new partnership opportunities with a focus on scalable growth and with an eye for innovation
  • Structure terms and execute contracts coordinating with cross functional stakeholders
  • Facilitate communication with internal teams to effectively manage overall partnership (use-cases, inventory demands, product strategy, road-maps, operational requirements, GTM planning)
  • Perform industry and trend research, analysis, and reporting

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years in business development, partnerships, product marketing, or solution sales
  • Experience with creating and building differentiated relationships with strategic partners
  • Proven track record of success shown through KPI metrics and reporting
  • Knowledge of software technology or data technology required
  • Experience with social/mobile technologies and platforms a plus
  • Self-motivated problem-solver comfortable wearing different hats
  • Passion using data to drive decisions
  • Proven communication, questioning, and listening skills in formal and informal settings
  • Comfortable with complexity and thinking on multiple levels of abstraction; demonstrated use of critical thinking techniques
  • Ability to build excellent rapport with internal and external stakeholders; strong teamwork is a must
