Director, Global Sales Enablement

The Director of Sales Enablement is responsible for leading a high-performing team in the creation, development and delivery of enablement tools and programs that increase productivity and revenue of the sales team. The role will provide leadership, direction and execution of the strategic sales vision and drive collaboration with marketing, learning and development and sales leadership to deliver a unified approach. This person is responsible for building a team to enable the sales team to achieve growth initiatives and accelerate Monsters sales transformation to the pay for performance business model. The position will lead and manage the establishment, execution, and on-going development of a Global Training and Sales Force Effectiveness function with clearly defined objectives, strategies, tactics, and action plans.

Responsibilities 

  • This high-profile position relies on a person’s deep understanding of sales processes, sales systems, solution selling and innovative enablement solutions. 
  • Build a diverse global sales enablement team to help drive revenue and sales productivity 
  • Leverage cutting edge enablement platforms and architect a multifaceted learning experience with the right combination of mobile learning, experiential learning, self-paced and instructor led courses. 
  • Drive continuous improvement in content creation including multimodal curriculum and a streamlined process to ensure quality 
  • Advise on and assess industry best practices and provide thought leadership to deliver a best in class enablement experience 
  • Provide strategic direction and support to regional and country level teams in planning and executing enablement strategies, tactics and programs to meet their GTM plans 
  • Priorities should include implementing a sales methodology, coaching of sales leaders, certification programs, keeping the learner experience and sales impact in mind 
  • Work collaboratively with marketing, sales, product and L&D leaders to ensure alignment of messaging  

Job Requirements

  • A minimum of 5-8 years relevant experience in global sales, with a Bachelor's or Masters’ degree or equivalent experience 
  • Proven Sales Enablement leadership experience within the technology sector, ideally SaaS 
  • A motivated self-starter with a high energy level and excellent presentation, written and oral communication skills; Comfortable engaging with and communicating at all levels  
  • Expert training and facilitation skills (both in-person and virtual instructor led training) 
  • Effective leader, capable of developing the strategy and executing tactics and supporting programs, while managing competing priorities. With previous ownership of developing and delivering sales enablement and training programs including but not limited to methodology, certifications and assessments 
  • Experience building and coaching high performing teams and optimizing productivity 
  • Strong understanding of how to effectively leverage state-of-the-art enablement tools 
  • A relationship builder, enabling you to earn trust and influence the business 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products and familiarity with SFDC and HubSpot a plus
