Associate Analyst

Monster is looking for a talented Associate Analyst to join our team! The life of an Associate Analyst is closely aligned with the ongoing lifecycle of our businesses, their products, and the strategic initiatives in play.  Key decisions (Do we build a new product?, Do we sunset an old one?, At what cost/benefit?, Does this partnership make sense?,  What’s the value of this M&A target?, etc.) would be aided by this type of trusted business advisor whose job it is to work closely with a wide array of global teams to model out and quantify the implications of key decisions and to be a data-oriented neutral party that sees the business holistically in order to help Monster make the best business decisions it objectively can.  This will be an Excel-heavy, research-heavy, stats-heavy role.

Responsibilities 

An Associate Analyst primary function is to operate as a trusted business partners who work closely with the stakeholders in every functional group and ELT to:

• Conduct ad-hoc quantitative analysis to provide insights and recommendations to the stakeholders.
• Build Business Cases (for new products, EOLs, migrations, partnerships, etc.)
• Conduct research (both aggregation and synthesis of prior research as well as conducting primary research).
• Assess & Quantify Strategic Plans, Proposals, & Roadmaps
• Bridge relationships amongst senior leaders to ensure fluid business decisions are being made

Job Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience
• Must be an absolute master modeler in Excel
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Must have very strong business acumen
• Must be attention to details
• Must be comfortable working with a fast-paced environment
• Must be a self-starter and are keen to learn
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and a strong team player
