Position Title: Director, Product Management_G01

Director, Product & Engineering

Monster is looking for a Director of Product & Engineering to join our IAF team! This position will be a critical member of the IAF leadership team and will partner with other business leaders to ensure audience and client needs are being met through product support and enhancements on Military.com and Fastweb.com.

Responsibilities

  • Creating, communicating, and leading the technical execution of the overall business strategy for the Military.com and Fastweb.com products.
  • Work closely with other business units to achieve alignment on business goals and priorities and solicit input from multiple channels for product enhancements.
  • Oversee the software system architecture and provide technical expertise on development and design.
  • Give guidance and direction of day-to-day tasks for the engineering and product teams.
  • Effectively manage team members and support personnel career development and growth.

Requirements

  • 7-10+ years of experience within the engineering and product fields
  • Experience with multiple programming languages: Java, PHP, Ruby, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, shell scripting
  • Micro-services and distributed architecture experience
  • Experience with AWS services
  • Software security knowledge and experience
  • Network and Unix system administration experience
  • Relation databases: MySQL, OracleDB
  • NoSQL databases: Redis, OpenSearch
  • Experienced within personnel management, development, and career growth
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in creating software requirements
  • Roadmap management and planning

*Salary range for this position: $156,900 - $235,300

Pay offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidate’s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Based on eligibility, a successful candidate’s total compensation may include a variable pay plan including bonus(es) and/or commission(s). In setting compensation, Monster complies with all local wage and hour laws.
