Associate Finance Projects Analyst

As a member of the centralized Accounting Team based in Prague you will be responsible for various projects around accounting and finance process improvements, including RPA. We are looking for an open-minded candidate, who will support the Finance & RPA Analyst with driving the efficiencies and working towards lean solutions within (but not limited to) the Accounting Team. The role contains also accounting and month end closing activities.

Responsibilities

• Working on projects (Global and European) as directed by the Finance & RPA Analyst
• Ad hoc analysis and analytics as needed
• Development of Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
• Writing and maintaining existing Excel macros that support the Accounting Team activities
• Working with various financial systems (Oracle, Hyperion, Tagetik), maintaining the mapping tables, solving the issues with transfer of data, creating reports
• Assuming power writer role for the Business Intelligence reports
• Month-end accounting and closure activities (such as General Ledger journal entries and reconciliations)
• Cooperation with the Accounting Team and other internal departments seeking synergies

Requirements

• Preferably a degree in Finance or IT
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Experience in data management, querying and analysis
• Proficient to advanced Excel including VBA
• Understanding of Finance processes
• Major ERP system experience (Oracle preferred)
• Positive attitude to change, seeking new ideas and fosters innovation
• Fluent English language
